Thank you from Mirfield Arts Festival 2017
It’s been a week since #mirfieldartsfestival 2017. This time last week, the cinema night was happening in St Pauls Church showing the iconic Star Trek film “First Contact”
A lot of people attended over the weekend of the 15th – 16th July and luckily, we got good weather! Especially for our parade which happened on the 16th July! There were lots of beautiful costumes, amazing dancing from the Sutton School of Performing Arts and a brilliant atmosphere overall!
To see some more photos or read about the Carnival Parade (organised by Callaloo Carnival Parade), click this link to read the Huddersfield Examiner article.
Thank you to everyone who attended! We couldn’t do it without you attending, spreading the word, supporting your community etc.
Lots of photos were taken across the weekend. So, if you wish, you can message the page on Facebook if you want to send in your photos to feature in the album I’ll create for Mirfield Arts Festival 2017. I’ll credit/tag you if you wish. I aim to create the album for next Friday (28th July).
FINALLY – We had a competition going where you went around different venues and got stickers. Once you’d collected them all, you put them in a box and you were entered into a prize draw.
The Mirfield Arts Festival organisers are pleased to let you know that the “I DID IT” Mirfield Arts Festival Lucky Draw winner is EILEEN SUNDERLAND. The winner has been informed.
Her prize is a “Lunch for 4 people @ Healds Hall.”
Thank you to all who took part in The Mirfield Arts Festival Trail – we hope you enjoyed the journey around the Festival!
